General Rooms
Everyone deserves to feel at home and our well-designed, modern rooms provide a comfortable, relaxing environment for all of our residents.
All rooms are fully compliant with fire safety regulations to ensure resident's safety at all times. Telephones are supplied at $10 per month for rental, plus call costs, and Internet access is connected across all residential areas of Benhome.

Rose Cottage
Rose Cottage is our state-of-the-art unit for those with Dementia, and features a beautiful outdoor area for residents. Specialist staff can access a Dementia-specific alert system to assist with resident location at any time.
The Rose Cottage was extensively renovated in 2007. All rooms are good quality brick veneer, and include a television with remote control. Each room has full fire safety protection including sprinklers and early detection devices.

Building Development
To meet the increasing local demand for aged care, a new two storey building will be constructed on the North Western corner of the Benhome site.
The development will provide 59 new residential care rooms, linking into the existing historically significant Pender House.
The new development includes:
- new kitchen
- new laundry
- function rooms
- main entry and foyer
- new gymnasium
- new facilities for hairdresser and consulting room
NOTICE: This facility does not have a fire sprinkler system installed in accordance with the Environmental Planning & Assessment Regulation 2000. This regulation requires a fire sprinkler system to be installed in this facility by 1 March 2016
